To give you a little idea of what to expect we have asked some members and visitors for their comments!

New Life is a very loving church and we have good friendships with one another.  The worship is enjoyable and most of the time the Word seems directly relevant to what I am going through.  (Stuart A)

I feel very much at home in the meetings because I really feel I am part of a family.  It is more like a family reunion than a meeting.  Our meetings are very down to earth and open.  The Word is very direct and speaks to me.  It is not like being able to hide in a crowd.  There is a wonderful sense of freedom during worship and in it you feel the presence of God.  (Hazel).

I see us as very family orientated and scripture based.  Being a part of a New Testament style church is both challenging and exciting.  We are informal but orderly, allowing God to move throughout our meeting.  I am excited when I think of what God has in store as everyone plays their part. I like church because in Sunday School I learn quite a lot and because I like praising Jesus.   (Kate (8 yrs))

I think that it’s a very nice church with young and old people.  My own experience is that I got to know the Lord through this church.  I find meetings interesting and don’t get bored.  I get excited about God.  It makes me want to know God more and read the Bible.  It doesn’t just feel like a church, it is like a family – where we are all welcome and feel at home.(Lily (16 yrs))

Being so far away from home (USA) it always amazes me how God has always provided us a family through His church.  New Life has been no exception.  Our meetings have a sense of real worship in Spirit and Truth.  The Word is straight from the Bible and very practical. (Mel)

New Life is very homely, united and like a family.  Most of the time we are really enthusiastic.  We have a lot of laughs together.  Meetings are very encouraging and in worship we sing about the Church and what God has done for us.

I think of New Life as a close group of friends.  We’re down to earth and are not boring people!  Meetings are very in depth and lively at the same time. they’re interesting as well so you don’t fall asleep.  There is a sense of open-ness and not being made to feel an outsider. (Kevin Jr (16 yrs))

I like doing Sunday School.  I like singing songs and I like praying to God and we have loads of fun in the park.   (Abby (6 yrs))

I would describe New Life as a place where I feel comfortable and at home yet challenged to live a Christ centred life.  A place where relationships with both people and God have room to grow.  Our worship times are both encouraging and enjoyable with praise/worship/adoration songs.  During this time there is always room for reading scripture, prophecy, testimony, prayer etc.  The Word is ALWAYS Bible based, grace-filled, encouraging and life changing.  You can’t leave without God’s touching you in some way either through the worship, the Word or our wonderful fellowship together. Fellowship (meeting each other) is central to who we are and is very enjoyable. (Stuart B)
